I started raising Myotonic (fainting) goats in the spring of 2006 for my FFA project and since then it's been a rewarding experience. I have enjoy my goats since I started raising them and I have not regretted a minute of it. I graduated from West Virginia University in May 2013 with my bachelors in Animal & Nutritional Sciences. I was blessed to be accepted into Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine the following year, where I currently am pursuing my DVM degree. I plan to graduated in May of 2017 and work in a mixed animal practice. I can honestly say that goats played a huge role in where I currently am in my life and my goals that are in place. I love learning about animals and eagerly await what the future has in store for me.
